The Basics of Web Design
Web design might seem very complicated to some people, but it's actual not all that difficult. You purchase a domain name and you purchase a hosting package. Then you use those things to put content on the Internet. You can do this yourself, or you can have someone else do it for you for a price. Either way, you get a Web page that you can be proud of.
If you want to design it, though, there are some tools that can help you. Everything used to be written in HTML code. Now some things still are, but there are more choices. That's important, because not everyone understands that code and there are newer, faster, and better ways to handle things now.
There are also hosting packages that have templates. You choose the template, you put the content in, and you have a Web page that looks very professional but really only took you a couple of hours to complete. It's a great way for someone who doesn't know that much about Web design to get started.
