The Benefits of Dedicated Web Hosting

keys Not everyone understands why they should have dedicated Web hosting, but there are many advantages to it. Some people don't really need it because they have small Web sites that are just for personal use, but if you have a business, you'll probably want to have a dedicated Web host.

That means that you won't be sharing bandwidth with any other sites, and when you have heavy traffic on your site it won't get overloaded and crash. That can happen to sites that don't have dedicated hosting if one of the sites on their bandwidth starts experiencing a lot of traffic. They don't even have to be busy to crash, because someone else's site can cause that. When you have dedicated Web hosting you won't have any of those worries. You can just run your site and people who are interested in reading what you have to say and buying your product or service can do that without worrying about having to fight with slow speeds and/or crashing.

Smaller businesses might not need this kind of hosting, but medium and larger businesses certainly do.

Web design

Web Design. What is web design after all? Why we always hear and read that word? Well, if your part on the IT world you will really know what web design is. But for those who don’t know, ill give you some information.

Web design is the skill of designing presentations of content. It’s the process of designing Web pages, Web sites, Web applications or multimedia for the Web may utilize multiple disciplines, such as animation, authoring, communication design, corporate identity, graphic design, human-computer interaction, information architecture, interaction design, marketing, photography, search engine optimization and typography. Web design is also a process of conceptualization, planning, modeling, and execution of electronic media content delivery via Internet. The intent of web design is to create a web site a collection of pages that reside on a web server/servers and present content and interactive features to the end user in form of Web pages. Many web design companies use templates. This makes them less expensive, and you can choose from thousands of web design templates available online. The problem is, as with anything, you get what you pay for.

In web design you will need a web designer. A web designer is similar to a graphic designer. In fact, many graphic designers are web designers and vice versa. Sometimes the term web designer is used to describe a web developer, but really a web designer focuses on the user interface. Web designers usually offer HTML and graphics services and create visually focused web pages. They are responsible for layout, color palettes, and sometimes usability. They often develop some programming skills to enable them to include certain features in the interface such as roll-overs or dynamic menus. The difference between a designer and a developer is that a developer usually has more back-end programming skills and a designer is more focused on the look and feel.

There are many types of design approaches around the concept of web navigation. They can be roughly grouped in 5 categories:

Designer philosophy The designer lets his or her creativity work in a subjective way. The website is built from a personal view of the world. This approach can be found in art in some degree; and the result can be loved by some, hated by others.

Enterprise design This is one of the most common type of design. The website is designed around two main ideas: the need to please the boss and the need to involve everyone in the company.

Content-centered Similar to enterprise-design in its symptom - the inadequacy of its structure - but this time the problem is content. Typically the content is grouped by so many ways that in the end, nothing can be found.

Technology driven design This is a frequent one, driven by a goal to lower cost. The focus is on implementation and reaching a final product quickly. The navigation is driven by the easiest way to implement a solution.

User Experience driven design Also called UXP or UCD (user centered design), this is the process that places the users at the center. Fortunately, it’s becoming more and more popular as companies realize its great potential. The methods include interviews & observations before building the site, running different types of testing while building the site, and running some bayesian analysis once the site is live. These are all the 5 types of web design. Hope it will give you some information. Well, web designing is just easy, if your really interested to learn, just read and understand.

Web Hosting for Your Business

power When you have a business, you need to get good Web hosting. It can be difficult, though, to find what you're looking for because there are so many options. Free Web hosting is out there but it's not always good for businesses, since they usually need more bandwidth and better customer support than what the free services offer.

If you're looking for Web hosting for your business, keep in mind that you'll need to pay a reasonable fee for that hosting if you want to have something that's reliable. You can't expect to get great service for free, but at the same time you shouldn't expect to have to pay hundreds of dollars a month for a simple business Web site, either. Unless you run a huge corporation, that's more than you'll need. Check around to see what hosting companies other sites that are similar in size and scope are using.

Also, check with the hosting companies to see whether they have customer service on a 24-hour basis and whether there are additional fees for that. These extra fees can really add up if a company has them.
